Introduction: Pinpoki (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information from manufacturers and consumers on our platform.
Data Collection:
Personal Info: Name, email address, shipping address, and phone number.
Business Info: For manufacturers, we collect business licenses and tax identification.
Transaction Data: Details about payments and order history (processed via secure third-party gateways).
How We Use Data:
To facilitate orders between manufacturers and consumers.
To provide customer support and logistics tracking.
To comply with international trade and tax regulations.
Third-Party Sharing: We share data only with necessary partners, such as shipping carriers (to deliver your goods) and payment processors. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
1. Acceptance of Terms: By accessing Pinpoki, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
2. User Accounts: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
3. Manufacturer-to-Consumer (M2C) Transactions: Pinpoki acts as a platform to facilitate direct sales. While we vet our partners, the contract for sale is directly between the manufacturer and the consumer.
4. Prohibited Conduct: Users may not use the platform for fraudulent activities, infringing on intellectual property, or disrupting the site’s technical infrastructure.
5. Limitation of Liability: Pinpoki is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or the quality of goods received from manufacturers.
How to Delete Your Pinpoki Account
We value your right to be forgotten. To delete your account and associated data, please follow these steps:
Option 1: In-App Deletion
Log in to your Pinpoki account.
Go to Settings > Account Security.
Scroll to the bottom and click “Request Account Deletion.”
Confirm your request via the email link sent to your registered address.
Option 2: Manual Request (Admin Deletion) If you cannot access your account, please email our Data Protection team at support@pinpoki.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.”
What happens to my data? Once confirmed, your account will be deactivated immediately. Your personal data will be purged from our active databases within 30 days, except for information we are legally required to retain for tax or audit purposes (such as transaction records).
